ABOUT THE LAB

Careful work. Clear answers. Your decision.

You don’t need to know what has failed before you contact us. Tell us what happened and what matters most: getting your device working again or recovering the files on it. At our Tyneside lab, we investigate difficult iPhone, iPad and supported smartphone faults, then explain your options and the cost before you decide.

Send it from wherever you are in the UK

We’re based in Tyneside, North East England, and help customers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland by post. Book online first and we’ll email your booking reference, tracked postage label and packing instructions.

You don’t need to travel to the lab; we have no public walk-in counter. See the UK shipping policy for parcel sizes and what you can send.

Help with the faults that need a closer look

A device that won’t turn on, charge or show a picture can have several causes. We investigate these problems, liquid damage and supported data recovery cases. Where needed, we carry out specialist microsoldering on the logic board, the main circuit board inside your device. We check what has failed before recommending a repair.

Know what happens next

  • Your £35 assessment includes standard UK tracked postage to us and back. It is non-refundable and counts towards approved work.
  • You can follow your device from booking and arrival through assessment, your quote decision and return.
  • We explain what we find in a written report and give you a quote before any repair is approved.
  • You can approve, decline or ask for more time through the links in your quote email.

See the shipping and packing guide for how to send a device in.

Your privacy and your choices matter

We don’t ask for your device passcode when you book. If we need it for testing or recovery later, we’ll send a secure access link. Please don’t send a passcode by ordinary email or SMS. Our data handling policy explains how we protect and use access information.

We only begin quoted work after you approve it. If recovering files matters more than repairing the device, choose data recovery when booking. We’ll explain the different risks, options and ways to receive your files before you decide.

Clear answers, backed by careful work

We can’t promise that every device can be repaired or every file recovered. We can explain what our checks show, what may be possible and any risks before you decide. Our workshop repair stories show examples of the work and explain what each case demonstrates.

  • Our common questions explain fees, time estimates, supported devices and your choices after assessment.
  • The warranty policy explains which repairs are covered and the exclusions.

About the website imagery

The homepage and shared service banners use generated illustrations of board-level repair equipment and techniques. Captioned images in our workshop case articles are frames from actual repair footage; each article explains the recorded work and the scope of the evidence.
