What the fee covers
- Checking your device to investigate the fault.
- Explaining whether repair may be possible and any relevant risks.
- Standard UK tracked postage to us and back.
- A written report explaining your repair or recovery assessment.
Repair quote approval
We send you a quote before any repair work begins. If you approve it, your £35 assessment fee counts towards the total and you pay the remaining balance.
Data recovery assessment
For data recovery, we check whether recovery may be possible, which method is safest and what risks apply. We explain our findings and give you a quote before you decide on an attempt.
If repair is declined or not possible
If the quote is declined, expires, or the device is not practical to repair, the diagnostic fee is retained because the assessment, report and shipping route have already been provided. Fixaviour will then follow the relevant return route.
Cancellation before sending
If you need to cancel before sending the device, contact support@fixaviour.com as soon as possible with your booking reference. Refund handling depends on whether shipping, assessment or other work has already started.
