Why both job reference and email are used
The job reference identifies the case, and the booking email adds a simple privacy check against the repair record. That keeps the tool easy to use without making repair details public.
What the tracking page shows
The tool is intentionally limited to safe status information. It is there to reduce anxiety and keep customers informed, not to expose private technical notes.
What statuses mean
Statuses reflect customer-facing stages such as booked, received, diagnosis in progress, report issued, awaiting approval, repair in progress or returned. Recovery jobs can use recovery-specific wording where needed.
If the details do not match
The tool will not show a result if the job reference and email address do not match the booking details. Recheck the exact email used during booking.
