The repair stayed at the connector
Inspection did not find torn traces requiring reconstruction on this board. The old HDMI socket was removed, the pad area prepared and the replacement aligned and soldered.
Pin appearance was not the only check
After the physical work, diode readings were checked across the relevant connections. That separates a connector that merely looks tidy from one whose board connections have been electrically reviewed.
Picture and sound returned on a monitor
The completed console was connected to a monitor and tested for both video and audio output. That directly addressed the customer-facing HDMI complaint.
Other no-display faults need different diagnosis
A damaged port, protection component, filter, encoder or another board fault can produce similar symptoms. Connector replacement is appropriate only when inspection and readings support it.
