Why water damage confuses diagnosis
Repeated cases show the same pattern: the visible symptom often encourages the wrong story first. A case may look like storage trouble, a charging IC issue or a logic fault, while the true problem is corrosion affecting stability somewhere more basic.
Boot-loop style behaviour is not always what it seems
The iPad flashing-Apple-logo case is a good example. Early suspicion pointed one way, but the final root cause was water damage at the battery connector causing unstable charging and power behaviour.
Not every liquid-damage job is economically viable
Some severe multi-area liquid-damage cases become non-viable because corrosion is too broad. That does not make every liquid-damage device a lost cause, but it does make careful assessment essential.
